Bosch Custom Case System Clear Storage Box Dividers

Bosch Custom Clear Case Cross Divider Open

Description

These dividers allow you to partition the clear storage box from the Bosch custom case system. I’ve provided STL files for a single divider, a dual divider (three bays), and a cross divider.

I’ve also provided the model file so you can make you own custom dividers. You can position one or two dividers front to back or side to side. You can also modify the cross divider to make unequal partitions.

Files

Printer: Prusa i3 MK3
Slicer: Cura Slicer
Material: Inland PET-G
Resolution: 0.2mm with a 0.4mm nozzle
Wall Lines/Perimeters: 2
Infill: 10% Gyroid
Notes: If your slicer has Adaptive layers, you might want to try it on this print. The cross divider usually takes 39 minutes with the above settings, but if you turn on adaptive layers it takes 29 minutes.

Instructions

There is a right and wrong way to put the divider in the box. The top of the divider is sloped, this slope should run towards the hinge. If you look at the box, it is shorter on the hinge side. The dividers are designed to rest right on the lid so small parts can’t mix.

You may notice that the divider doesn’t sit completely flat on the bottom of the clear storage box, that’s simply because the bottom isn’t flat — at least on the one I tested with. This shouldn’t affect the divider, the base is thin and flexible and should conform to the bottom when odds and ends are put into the box.

Also the divider might be slightly proud of the top of the box. This is because the bottom of the case bows upward. The lid will be a little harder to close, but it should force the bottom down.
