You have a ton of insert bits and you want to store them in a dense, easy to access way. The Dewalt ToughCase vertical bit holder can hold sixteen bits in the same space the default bit holders can hold seven.
To hold the bits vertically I borrowed from the design of my Milwaukee bit holders. The bits actually fit loosely in the slots, but are held in place with a spring. To the right you can see a cutaway of the holder.
This holders are optimized for the medium and large ToughCases. While they will work in the small ToughCases, they will interfere with closing if you have anything on the other side of the case.
Printer: Prusa i3 MK3
Slicer: Cura Slicer
Material: Inland PET-G
Resolution: 0.2mm with a 0.4mm nozzle
Wall Lines/Perimeters: 3
Infill: Minimum 10% Gyroid. The higher infill percentage the stronger the part.
Notes: Print with supports touching the build plate! The dovetails won’t print right without them.
This is exactly what I have been looking for. However I do not have a 3D printer. Any idea where I could purchase something exactly like this.
I have a printing resources page here: https://3dprints.electronsmith.com/purchasing/
You can try contacting Dennis Smallbone, his contact info should be on the website I listed in the link above. He has sometimes printed some of my more obscure designs for people.
